The True Knot

Immediately after Jackson was removed from his prior home, the doctors all started pointing with excitement at his umbilical cord. Jackson had done a full somersault in the womb and managed to tie his umbilical cord during the pregnancy. I'm not sure just how rare this is... but it seemed rare enough to get all the doctors in the room pretty thrilled to have seen it. Apparently, having a C-section was divine intervention, because a true knot in the umbilical cord can cause severe birthing complications. It can synch so tight during the birth that it doesn't provide the baby with oxygen and blood. Add in the huge head... and things could have been very complicated for the new family.
